Two Ticks
for mhs homes
Jobcentre Plus have awarded
the mhs homes group with its "Two Ticks" Positive About Disabled
People symbol.
The symbol recognises an employer’s
commitment to the recruiting, training, career development and
retaining of disabled people.

Advisory Services Manager, presented the award to Ashley Hook,
Chief Executive of mhs homes .
She said: "Achieving the disability
symbol is a testament to the commitment of all staff and means that
mhs homes welcomes job applications from all people, regardless of
any disability.
"Jobcentre Plus works closely with
employers to ensure that disabled people have the opportunity to
apply for vacancies and that jobs go to the most suitable person,
based on their ability."
Employers who use the Two Ticks
symbol have made a commitment that they are positive about employer
disabled people.
Christine Treadwell at mhs homes said:
"The mhs homes group will now be able to use this disability symbol
as a flag to show we have a positive attitude towards job
applications from people with disabilities. It means that we
are positive about employing disabled people and will keep the five
commitments to employ, keep and develop the abilities of staff with
disabilities."
