Lucky customers win star prize in the weekly direct
debit draw
Two lucky mhs homes customers
won a New Year’s Eve experience they wouldn’t forget, after signing
up to pay their rent by weekly Direct Debit.

Dale in Chatham were stunned to hear that they had won a short
break to Paris for two, including a trip to Euro Disney to see the
New Year in, in style. They were presented with their prize by
Minnie Mouse after their names were picked from a free prize draw
held by mhs homes as part of an initiative to help customers pay
their rent more easily.
Angela Kirby said, "We were over the
moon to hear we had won. We actually wanted to go to Paris for our
honeymoon but ended up going to the Norfolk Broads so this trip is
extra special. We haven’t been on holiday just the two of us for
three years because we’ve had our children, Freya (3) and George
(10 months). We had to get a passport and a babysitter sorted but
now we can really enjoy ourselves."
mhs homes customers that signed up to
pay their rent by weekly direct debit were entered into a monthly
draw to win prizes such as theatre tickets, family days out and
runner up prizes. Patricia Hewett, mhs homes Housing Manager said,
"We set up the weekly direct debit to provide another method of
payment for our customers to use. A lot of our tenants get paid
weekly so this suits their needs and helps them to manage their
payments.
Graham Kirby said, "We set up our
weekly direct debit straight away, after seeing it advertised in
mhs news. It’s so easy to do and is far less hassle for us. We
don’t have to worry that we might forget a payment as it’s all
sorted. Winning this prize is a real bonus."
