    Resident Involvement Days

We held our first Resident Involvement Day back in January 2007 and since then residents have attended several involvement days to help us shape our services.  Your involvement is key to ensure we deliver the services you want. The next Resident Involvement Days will be shorter and more focused at your request.

  • Here are the dates Monday 26th Janaury 10am -11am, Wednesday 25th February 10am -11am, Thursday 26th March 2pm - 3pm. Why not come along and join us? Please telephone 01634 354178 to book your place and for more information.

    Leaseholders Forum

All Leaseholders are invited to a forum to discuss leases and the service of mhs homes. The last Leaseholder Forum was held in November 2008. If you wish to take part in the next forum please telephone 0845 113 3000, or visit  mhs express in Chatham High Street or email us on customerservice@mhs.org.uk to book your place and obtain more information.

    Residents Groups

Residents in many areas have set up groups to improve their local area and participate in the management of their homes. mhs homes will actively support and help residents set up groups in any way we can.

    Repairs Feedback

Customers who have had repairs completed on their rented properties are either sent a feedback form by post or are telephoned and asked to complete a short survey.

    Consultation

We will talk to you to provide information and to consult where, for example, maintenance or improvement work is to be carried out to your home or the neighbourhood in whch you live.

    Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey

This year we have asked Priority Research to send a questionnaire to all of our customers, to ask for feedback about our services. This gives us the opportunity to measure our performance and make any improvements, it is therefore important to mhs homes that as many people as possible complete and return the forms, which are confidential.  All returned questionnaires will be entered into a £250 prize draw.

    Board Representatives

Two tenants are elected each year by other mhs homes customers to become Board Representatives.  They sit on the Board of Trustees and the Housing Board to give tenants a voice in the important decisions that affect them. Details of how to contact your tenant representatives can be found inside your copy of mhs news, our residents newsletter.

    mhs News Editorial panel

Our residents newsletter, mhs news, is produced by an Editorial Panel made up of residents. mhs news is delivered to all of our residents 3 times a year in April, August and December. It enables mhs homes and residents to share valuable information and advice.  We are always looking for new members to write articles, conduct interviews or submit ideas for forthcoming editions. The Editorial panel meetings are held at our Broadside offices, but if you are unable to attend, ideas and articles can be sent in by post to The Editor, mhs news, mhs homes, Broadside. Leviathan Way, Chatham, Kent. ME4 4LL or emailed to involvement@mhs.org.uk
