Moving to a property not owned by mhs homes

If you want to end your tenancy, you must give us at least four weeks written notice and provide us with a forwarding address. Your notice period will start from the following Monday of your notification to us. Your rent must be paid until your tenancy has been terminated and you have handed in all your keys to the property along with the termination form. This form must be signed by each person who signed the tenancy agreement, or copy of Power of Attorney if you are ending the tenancy on behalf of the tenant  and return it to either Broadside. Leviathan Way or mhs express in High Street, Chatham within the notice period, no later than 9:00am on the date of termination. IMPORTANT - If your keys are returned after this time, you will be charged an additional weeks rent. Please do not return keys in the post.

When we receive notification of your termination your Housing Officer will arrange a date with you to inspect your home to see if any repairs need to be carried out. Make sure that any repairs that are your responsibility have been carried out to avoid being recharged. Moving Homes Standard Leaflet.
