M.A.P.S. is a service for people with learning disabilities, providing activities and opportunities. M.A.P.S. run activities in Twydall and the Waderslade area.

M.A.P.S. Aims

 

M.A.P.S. is a self-advocacy group which aims to help people with physical and/or learning disabilities fulfil their potential, by making their own decisions. Developing friendships, gaining confidence, having fun, building strong links within the community and making connexions with other areas around Kent.

This project was started in 2006, and it is now entering its 4th year.

M.A.P.S. are able to give people a positive outlook on life, as we are helping them gain new experiences, make new friends, and come to a place where they are valued. The clients are developing their personal, social, and negotiating skills through various activities.
