Community Chest

The Community Chest Grant is a funding stream open to individuals and group projects that encourage greater involvement in local community activities by providing projects which will benefit residents living in areas where we own or manage homes.  You can apply for grants up to £1,500

We particularly welcome applications from gold service members and applications that support activities and services for children, young people and older people. The results should lead to greater community involvement, more vibrant and cohesive communities, local regeneration and encouraging residents to become empowered and take an active part in their communities.

mhs homes will fund:                                                                                                        

• New projects that are starting up     
• Existing groups to expland their activities
• Organisations working with hard to reach groups

Recent recipients of awards are the Strood Boxing Club, Prospect Row and Bryant Street Residents Association and funding towards the Strood Community Fun Day.
