Charity Fundraising
Every year our staff are asked to nominate a charity
they would like to support and raise money for. This year
we have chosen the "British Heart Foundation."
Their vision is of a world in which
people do not die prematurely of heart disease. They are dedicated
to keeping hearts beating and believe that the three essential ways
we can achieve this vision is through research, prevention and
care.
The British Heart Foundation
is the UK’s biggest funder of heart research. In
Medway they have helped fund six BHF Heart Nurses and
equipment to save lives like community defibrillators. In the past
year 12 defibrillators were placed across Medway to save lives in
those vital few moments when somebody has a heart attack.
